The Village of Hickson is a finalist in an Eastern Canada competition called the Here’s to Hometowns Giveaway. If it wins one of the $50,000 prizes, the town will give $10,000 to CMHA Oxford to help support suicide prevention programs in the community.

The village will fund other projects with the prize money, including, the Hickson Central Public School, Hickson Lions Club, Hickson Fire Department, and Hickson’s own Field of Dreams.

Winners are chosen based on the number of votes received by the public. You can do your part to support suicide prevention and help CMHA Oxford by voting every day between now and December 10, 2018.
