Add to Calendar (iCal) Add to Google CalendarThis program aims to improve mental health literacy, and provide skills and knowledge to help people better manage potential or developing mental health problems in themselves, a family member, a friend, or a colleague.
Teaches participants how to:
– Recognize signs and symptoms of mental health problems
– Provide initial help
– Guide a person towards appropriate professional help
This group will run virtually for 2 Afternoons:
– January 13, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
– January 14, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Includes 2 hours self-learning before the workshops.
Certificates are provided to attendees who complete the training.
You must be 18 years and older to attend this program. Facilitators certified by Mental Health Commission of Canada
Cost: $125 for 12 hours of training (reduced rate due to virtual format; student rate available)
