Clara has struggled with depression and anxiety since she was a girl. She struggled to find help in school, and later at work. She was placed onto waitlists, and then waited. And waited. The help never came. “I have lived in the dark for years. I have nowhere to turn.”
Let’s rewrite Clara’s story:
Clara struggled in the dark for years, waiting for support. We can reduce that wait time by providing timely, accessible support through Oxford County Walk-In Counselling.
Clara found it difficult to find people who understand how she was feeling. We can provide that connection with our Peer Support programs and drop-in centre.
These programs provide light in the lives of people like Clara. They bring hope to our community. They help Clara write a new story.
You can help rewrite the story of mental health in Canada.
Please consider making a donation today. With your generous gift, you are rewriting the story of mental health care for those in our community. Supporting programs that give our loved ones somewhere to turn. Connecting them with somebody who understands what they are going through. Bringing hope and connection to our community, and keeping people well and out of crisis.
Your support this year will help CMHA Oxford rewrite the mental health story for our family, friends, and neighbours.
We will write this story together, thanks to the support of donors like you. Everyone in Canada has the right to mentally healthy places to work, live, learn and play. Everyone in Canada needs somewhere to turn.
By donating today, you are rewriting the future of mental health in Canada. Thank you!
