‘Picks & Flicks’ organizers say the first in a series of live concert/big screen events scheduled to rock the Oxford Drive was a definite hit. Sunday evening saw excited fans arrive by the carload to experience the big stage performance they’d been missing for the past six months and the band, Full Petty Fever, delivered. The large video wall behind the stage gave the crowd something not often seen at clubs or festivals and they loved it. Flashing lights and blasting car horns replaced applause. The LIVE event adhered to all social distancing requirements.
Organizers say the momentum for the event began picking up steam about a week ago and in response they have added a date with the SPOONS to the upcoming lineup. This Juno nominated band will be headlining Sunday, Sept 6th – with an earlier start time 4 p.m.
Tickets for Picks & Flicks outdoor series are available on Ticketwindow.ca. Ticket prices vary depending on how many people per vehicle. Preferred parking spots are available. Tickets MUST be purchased online prior to the event.
Concessions will be open and following ALL COVID-19 protocols of masks and social distancing.
